This is why I don’t keep up with news

Story #1-
Two teenagers tied up and abused a disabled girl while waiting for her mom to come home so they could steal her car.
Story #2-
Community lawyer who volunteered on weekends was strangled to death (probably by her boyfriend, who she often defended in court).
Story #3-
Man had sex with corpse in morgue.
Story #4-
4-month-old baby died after being thrown from car seat during a car crash.
Seriously? This is the world we live in?
[sigh]
And that’s just local news.
Those are very depressing, but here’s hoping that at the same time, a volunteer was recognized for her diligence and a community rebuilt a home.
Unfortunately good news isn’t as scintillating for broadcast, so you won’t see it unless it’s uber tug at heart strings.
