Recycling electronics
As if it’s not a big enough pain in the butt when your computer/phone/camera dies and you have to get a new one (i.e., find one you like and then fork up the dough for it), what do you do with the old one?!
Apple has a few solutions:
- iPod and cell phone recycling (regardless of manufacturer)
- buy a new Apple monitor or computer and recycle your old Mac OR PC for free
What I love is that they also pay for the postage (at least for the iPods/cell phones)!
If I didn’t have Verizon, I’d probably do that. Instead I’m going to donate my old phone (which accidentally went into the wash a few years ago) to the HopeLine project.
Now I just have to figure out what to do with these two broken digital cameras… :\
