BFFs Angie and Kristan blog about anything, everything, and sometimes even nothing.

Who says we didn’t evolve from primates?

by Angie

Kristan, remember when I told you that I looked like a monkey after I go running, and you promptly reassured me that I don’t look like one? Well here’s an example from a trip to Driftwood Vineyards and Wimberley, where I am climbing trees.

I am definitely a monkey.

Never pick up a candle that burnt out

by Angie

Genius here picked up a red flower candle that had burnt out but it turns out that the glass was still hot! So now I’m in blistering pain on my thumb and slight pain on the index finger. Of course it’s my right hand (the dominant one). Not cool.

Despite the surging pain I still want a large, soy sugar cookie candle because my old tiny one is really lacking. After that I could use a kiss on my boo-boo. You’d be surprised how much it hurts.

That is why sites like Jackson Pollock by Miltos Manetas are so awesome. You don’t have to type, just click and make soothing images with your middle finger.

It’s a love story, baby, just say yes

by Kristan

Okay, she often wears too much makeup, but I think Taylor Swift looks absolutely stunning in the “Juliet” scenes of her new video, and I’m very much in love with this song at the moment.

This love is difficult
but it’s re-eal

And we’re slow to acknowledge the knots on the laces, heart it races

by Angie

I love this cover, I love the sound of the lead singer’s voice too, a little Beck-like, a little something else. And might I add their interactive Web site for their new album Fate is fun.

It has clips from the original music video by Architecture in Helsinki.
