There is hope for me yet
I’m a subscriber to the Harvard Business Review (HBS) daily management emails, and they just started a new one called the Daily Stat. And today’s stat was about job satisfaction. Seriously, almost half are completely satisfied?
Yes that’s right, 4 out of 10 of people our age are also completely satisfied. Maybe I will like my career. Of course, I have to find one first…

Very interesting. Especially (but not surprisingly) that the older you are, the more job satisfaction you have. Is this because they’re more appreciative of their jobs (having experienced other less satisfying ones in the past?) or that they have the ability at that age and with their experience/clout to get the jobs they really want?
And yes, the workforce really isn’t THAT bad. :P
