If you ever wanted to see me without clothes…Happy Halloween

by Angie

Boo! Have a Happy Halloween!

Yes, that is my actual skeleton from a scan I had to do today. It was a busy day might I add, but I found out that I am 21.4% body fat (women my age 20-32% normal range, while men are 8-19%). I’m a lean machine. ^_-

BOO TO NO EMBEDDING

by Kristan

Even though I’m ticked off at Universal Music Group for not letting me embed the video here, I’d like to recommend Jon McLaughlin’s new song “Beating My Heart.”

AND ASK UNIVERSAL TO STOP BEING SUCH D-BAGS!

It’s much harder for me to spread the love for your artists if you disable embedding. >(

This election just got a whole lot cuter

by Kristan

Albert sent me this video of kids singing a voting song to the tune of T.I.’s “Whatever You Like” (which I really like!).

Granted, THEY can’t vote however they like…

Lasse Lindh, it ain’t so easy to love you true

by Angie

Lasse Lindh is amazingly my type of music. After listening to Bruised, I started scoping out more of this Swedish singer (he’s a guy). You can hear him here and here.

I particularly love C’mon Through.

Ridiculous, I know

by Angie

Do you ever wonder why pointless things make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? Tonight the University had a firework display (for money probably) and I stepped outside to watch from the steps. I don’t know what it is about fireworks (even if they’re wasteful and loud), but they create this magic. I think of imagination, and for some part, Disney. I think of this shared joy and awe with those around you.

The same goes with cut flowers (another wasteful industry, I know), but I admit to be a sucker for them. To receive and place a bouquet of bright, cheerful flowers on your table, just gives you such a lovely feeling of appreciation and warmth.

And then there’s the clip Kristan sent me. I keep watching the panda sneeze clip and giggling. Profusely. I don’t know why, but I love it and the baby panda is so cute. Okay, watching one more time.

There’s also this old gem from a while back: otter love. Wait for it, it’s golden.

I think these things all remind me of the magic of love and it makes me all emotional (in a good way). Big hugs for everyone :)
