BFFs Angie and Kristan blog about anything, everything, and sometimes even nothing.

Ain’t it good to be alive? Angie, Angie, they can’t say we never tried

by Angie

No, those are Rolling Stones lyrics. I am not that full of myself. Actually since I’ve been a little stressed (October means insane work pile-up for grads), I’m listening to some mellow music. Here are my recommendations to de-stress, besides wearing bright colors:

La Vida es un Ratico by Juanes
Karma Police by Radiohead
Three Wishes by The Pierces
I’m Yours by Jason Mraz (acoustic)
Out Loud by Dispatch (acoustic)
Breakable by Ingrid Michaelson
Be OK by Ingrid Michaelson
Keep Breathing by Ingrid Michaelson
Far Far by Yael Naim
New Soul by Yael Naim
Young Friend by Brooke Waggoner
Stay or Leave by Dave Matthews Band
No Other Way by Jack Johnson
This Heart is a Stone by Acid House Kings
Sorry by Maria Mena
and of course, Angie by Rolling Stones

Yes, I realize my name is forever epitomized with breaking up. Life story right? I also love Ingrid Michaelson’s lyrics, “Have you ever thought about what protects our hearts?

Looks like a pretty good list, although I haven’t heard all of them. YAY that Maria Mena made it! I love her.

Ingrid Michaelson doesn’t look anything like what I expected. Significantly prettier and less… emo? foreign? nerdy?
