Black Friday shopping spree

by

Believe it or not, at age 23, I have never once gone shopping on Black Friday. Not until today, that is.

My boyfriend, lover of all things on sale, decided that Black Friday was an American tradition I needed to experience at least once. So this morning we braved the crowds at Greece Ridge Mall in his hometown of Rochester, NY, to see what awesome deals we could find.

(In the spirit of full disclosure, we also did some pre-Black Friday research and shopping online last night.)

In addition to some fancy schmany pots and pans that Andy has been craving for years — have I mentioned how WONDERFUL it is to have a boyfriend who loves to cook? — and new bedsheets as an early Xmas present from my mother, I splurged on these fun little items.

green and black bustier dress from Charlotte Russe

“out on the town” purse from Charlotte Russe (although I got mine in black)

Ugg-wannabe boots from Walmart

I’m not sure when I turned so trendy, lol, but hey, I’m excited about my pretty new things that didn’t cost me very much money!
