Everyday art / Art every day
A coworker sent me these links which I thought were pretty cool. First, Randel Plowman makes a collage a day. like this one:
He was inspired by Duane Keiser, who made a painting a day, like these:
*No work-related posts on products here.
In addition to JBU, Kristan blogs at The Dieline. She lives in Cincinnati with her boyfriend, puppy, and leopard gecko.
Think of it as brain food + eye candy.
We think each is important in its own way, so we make sure you can easily see both!

Keiser has inspired a lot of artists with his “A Painting A Day” blog. I never thought I’d get into it. But now, even I am doing it. 100 paintings in 100 days is enough for me to start. It has been interesting, though. Doing full landscapes at 4″x4″ is a real challenge!
Brian’s last blog post: Friday Funnys – Well, something FUN anyway.
It sure sounds like it! Hats off to you, and good luck. Looks like you’ve got some nice stuff. (I like “Old Truck” and “Hauling Traps, Vinalhaven” right off the bat.)
Thanks. We’ll see where it goes. I might make it an annual event. I don’t think I’d ever do it year-round like many have.

Yeah, year-round seems intense. Annual event sounds like a good compromise, and it’s still like 1/4 or 1/3 of your year!
Now I feel as if I should be creating something daily. I really like the collages.
Lol I should be creating daily… I’m reinstating a min word limit, not related to this daily art though, just something I know I need to do.
