Waving my white flag
You know what, I can’t hold out anymore. After years of avoiding Pink Berrys (granted they’re in California and New York), Tasty D’lites (New York), and Swirl (Houston)–not to mention all the other ones that started breaching the Texas market. After having no say when they closed the Coldstone by campus. And despite the fact that I hate the taste of the original base of these yogurts–they are the same flavor as the Asian yogurt drinks I had growing up that I never liked. I’m actually going to welcome these low-cal frozen yogurt businesses, which are all carbon copies of each other (see Red Mango). I give in.
Why? The campus just got its first taste of this type of “yogurt experience” (think about that Starbucks lifestyle). Now the everyone on campus is having a big hullabaloo over Yogurt Spot, I can’t fight it anymore. So I will go with you and get a chocolate yogurt with sprinkles, since it’s the only one that doesn’t have that sour taste, and then ponder how Amy’s is going to fare in this market.
So who’s up for some fro-yo?

I really want to try the one here called yagööt! (Which is German for “yes good!” teehee.)
