At the very least, I will be prepared for winter

For those of you wondering, I’m actually going to start working in New York come October. My mom is beyond thrilled (actually both parents are quite excited that their over-educated daughter is not an over-educated unemployed bum).
Mom: I just want to buy you lots of sweaters.
Of course, my initial excited words were these.
Me: Can you and dad take me shopping?!
Hey, it’s expensive to live in New York.
Keep in mind that you may want buy some stuff up there. Winter goods sold in Houston are not necessarily up to the real test.
But… YAYAYAYAYAYAYYAY!
