Stepping into “Grey’s Anatomy”
Welcome to wet and wonderful Seattle! Now that fall premieres are finally airing, what better time to dive back into my TV Design series? Today I’m using one of my long-time fave shows (in spite of MANY ups and downs) Grey’s Anatomy as inspiration.
Since no one wants to decorate their house like a hospital room, we’ll skip the medical stuff and start with the main characters’ home. Inherited from her mother, Meredith’s house is a little old-fashioned. A realtor would probably say “cozy” and “warm.” Given how many couples in the show have hooked up in this place (the bedrooms, the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom… everywhere) I should certainly hope it’s comfortable!

Of course, we can’t forget everyone’s favorite gay bartender, Joe. His bar is the after-work hub for our Seattle Grace team.
Adele is the Chief of Surgery’s wife, and she is ROCKING that pink coat. This elevator full of CT scans and medical charts is where (and how) Derek proposed to Meredith.
After 5 seasons years of hard work, the team got a locker room upgrade. Don’t you just love the deep wood cubbies?

I love that Goddess gray dress. It’s beautiful? Can I just sleep in it? That is also a cool screen.
