BFFs Angie and Kristan blog about anything, everything, and sometimes even nothing.

Blame it on my roots

by Angie

As you know I’ve moved permanently to New York and have been here a week now. Since work takes a lot of my time I’m going to start posting about people I meet, however brief.

That first day I flew in I met three people, one of which I mentioned already–I did manage to wear my jacket with actual pants. I also met another older Italian gentleman who is a Lipton engineer and loves tea, and he insisted (like a father) to send me tea once I’m settled. But the clencher is the third person I met, the flight attendant from our flight. I don’t know what I did, but I left the plane with a hand-written note from him including his contact information. Must be my Southern charm oozing out.

Oh I do like the idea of hearing like brief character sketches of people you meet in NYC!
