I’m in love with these red flower earrings from Etsy shop ZsB Creations. I think they are beautiful, and have holiday flare without limiting themselves to the holiday season.
According to the shop profile, ZsB’s items are handmade from polymer clay or other fine materials such as Japanese miyuki beads, Karen Hill tribe crystals, or Swarovski crystals.
These also caught my eye:

The premise was that my mommy was going to get some items at the Apple store but there was no time, so I ended up browsing my favorite stores in the Galleria (Apple, French Connection, Neiman’s and Nordstroms) and, uh, getting something myself.

Isn’t the intricate beading and fun design of this French Connection top interesting? I actually tried the dress, but I decided that I would wear this more. Love.
I absolutely love Thread Social’s spring line. It’s so cohesive and happy! It’s a little difficult to pull off that tulip skirt, but the model looks great.

Mmm, Mondays are for… handbags! And a few miscellaneous items from Etsy shop SewMo.
I can’t decide which one I like more…
Additional items include a lovely brooch and a simple button-cord glasses case. (Images after the jump.)

As a change from food and beauty, I wanted to show these cute, simple labels and bags for Tatico. (Sorry the pictures are so small! Screengrabs, eh…) Tatico is a line of 100% organic cotton tees for babies. More info and another photo after the jump.
Okay, I admit: I have a thing for bags. It’s not just a matter of me getting girlier as I “grow up” — which Angie will happily tell you I am — but I’ve ALWAYS loved bags. On my trips to Rome and Tokyo as a teen, I made sure to buy souvenir bags. At the time I was into messenger bags, so I got a maroon one in Italy and a black one in Japan. I never use them now, but that is totally besides the point!
Anyway, all this is really just to say that when I saw these bags at Red Ruby Rose, I thought they were pretty adorable.
They’re all the same style of bag — small hand purse with top clasp — but I’m okay with that because they’re cute and I currently possess zero in this style.
Wheeee, more pretty fashion illustrations! These are by UK artist Lauren Bishop. And OMG SHE GOT TO DESIGN ANNE OF GREEN GABLES BOOK COVERS!! I wonder if she’d like to trade lives…
Anyway, some of her awesome work:
When I was on South Congress a few weeks ago, I saw a girl wearing one of these wrap sweaters (typically acrylic, 70s, “ethnic” or “Navajo” as listed on ebay) and I was intrigued. So I did a little digging on ebay. Like pegged jeans they’re another fashion trend, except I kind of like this one.
Here, here, here and here, although Old Navy has their own version.
Speaking of trends, I admit I’m trying to work the black laced up boots, but I’ve got runners calves. At least I haven’t studded suede moccasins…yet another trend. Although I do have an urge to stud something.
Can I just say that these LL Bean Comfort Mocs are amazing for cold/rainy weather?
I know I know, you’re thinking I’m crazy. You’re thinking they don’t look like much, especially in comparison with the kinds of things we usually post. But honestly? They’re pretty attractive when being worn. They even look good under pants and jeans, and give the same impression as boots when covered.
Andy’s mom gave him a pair last Christmas and I’ve been coveting them ever since. Sometimes I even wore his (for short trips out with the dog) even though there was practically room for a whole other foot!
This year Andy’s mom gave me a pair of my own. Okay, I admit, I cheated and not only picked them out but also opened them early… But it’s cold and rainy! And I have a puppy to walk!
I love the monochrome shade of gray yet it has great texture. I could wear this to work, strolling down the street or on a date.
