Another genius ad campaign

by Kristan

OldSpice’s new YouTube “responses” campaign is less about heart and more about humor, but I still love it. It’s a perfect example of social media and consumer interaction at work.

This one in particular cracked me up:

Advertising + heart = success

by Kristan

Angie and I both have immigrant parents (I have 1, she has 2) so I think this new Google commercial really hits home for us. But parents and children of any type should be able to appreciate the idea of love and sacrifice.

Yes, this made me cry.

The Missing Piece Meets the Big O

by Angie

I love Shel Silverstein, even now. To review the full story, however, I’m going to purchase both The Missing Piece and this book below.

The Missing Piece Meets the Big O by Shel Silverstein about love, friendship, family, relationship

Paper Heart

by Kristan

My friend Julia recommended that I watch Paper Heart, and I’m so glad she did. It’s adorable. A blend of fiction and documentary. About love. About biology vs. magic.

“If you can hang in there, and you really love them, it gets better all the time.”

“I think the like is really the most important thing for longevity of a relationship. It’s all about the like. You have to really enjoy being around somebody, ’cause there’s people that can’t stand each other that are… that love each other at certain levels.”
