Sandra came in this past weekend and it was nice to have a good girlfriend here to just relax and have fun. We went salsa dancing at Copa (and I think–er hope–I’m improving!) and stuffed our faces at Flip Happy. On our way back from Whole Food’s Davy Baby finally reaching 77,777 miles. Like a dork, I had been waiting for this momentous occasion, so I pulled over on the side of the road (with Sandra and another friend in tow supporting me) and took this photo.

October is a busy month for me, and it’s only getting crazier. I’m hoping that these lucky 7s will bring me just that, good luck to help me through this grueling month of cases, research, papers and, as always, readings. So far I haven’t magically found more time, but I did get to ride in a Corvette today. Not too shabby.
